11.10.2022 Reflection – ‘Ask Better Questions’

Ask Better Questions to Build Better Connections – Amber L. Wright

From Amber L’s talk I’ve learnt that during the presentation body language help conveying informations, giving examples with enthusiasm is good for audience to pay attention, the speed and tones are important while communicate with audience so they can understand the key points.

“Communication is a transaction” give out value information and hopefully you will receive a value one as well.

“Asking question is part of it, another part is how we respond to people” It is true that sometimes people might be too focused on asking question but forget about responds properly. ‘How are you?’ is one of the practice we had in class. Use better way to ask people how are you but most importantly to give a better response better than ‘I’m good, thank you!’ Convey what’s really inside your minds and how you feel is an ability. “Asking better question & answer question honestly”

Compare both of the speaker I prefer Amber L, her talk is about development stages of why asking better question. Examples of ask better questions can make a big change in school project, and a much better link in between human communication.

Mike Vaughan another speaker on How to Ask Better Questions talks more about communicate peer to peer.
