Interview with Scarlett Yang – Hybrid Technology Artist
- What do you think about metaverse sustainability? How it works?
Scarlett said the production of metaverse fashion do help us save 97% of the energy. But to truly make it sustainable we need to make sure people who purchase one digital fashion clothing doesn’t buy one clothes offline. Other wise it still won’t change the situation.
So the solution to make carbon neutral future not just keep creating the metaverse fashion but also need to educate people.
- Do you think Asian younger generation have the awareness of sustainability? Or eco-friendly actions?
After i ask this to Scarlett she keep knock her head. Obviously the answer is no. So I asked her the following questions,
- Do you think metaverse can raise their awareness on eco-friendly lifestyle?
The fashion brand itself should have the awareness so they don’t produce harmful products.
- Do you think luxury brand event can be a good platform to educate younger generation?
That would work, and younger generation needs education with this fast changing industry!
